Meditour Uganda Germany

1. General

1.1 These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the contractual relationship between Meditour Uganda Germany (hereinafter referred to as “Provider”) and the customers (hereinafter referred to as “Customers”) who use the Provider’s services.

1.2 Deviating agreements are only binding if they are recorded in writing and confirmed by the Provider.

2. Provider’s Services

2.1 The Provider offers services in the field of medical tourism facilitation between Uganda and Germany. These include, among other things, the organization of medical treatments, travel planning, and support services on-site.

2.2 The specific scope of services is defined individually in the respective contract.

3. Conclusion of Contract

3.1 A contract between the Provider and the Customer is concluded as soon as the Customer accepts a written offer from the Provider or receives a written booking confirmation.

3.2 The Provider reserves the right to reject bookings without stating reasons.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 All prices are stated in Euros (EUR), unless otherwise specified.

4.2 Payments are due unless otherwise agreed, within 14 days of invoicing.

4.3 In the event of payment default, the Provider reserves the right to charge reminder fees and default interest in accordance with legal regulations.

5. Cancellation and Withdrawal

5.1 The Customer may cancel the contract at any time before the start of services in writing. The following cancellation fees apply:

  • Up to 30 days before the start of services: 20% of the agreed price
  • 29 to 15 days before the start of services: 50% of the agreed price
  • Less than 15 days before the start of services: 80% of the agreed price 5.2 If the Provider is unable to perform the service due to force majeure or other unforeseen reasons, the Customer will be informed immediately. Payments already made will be fully refunded in this case.

6. Liability

6.1 The Provider is only liable for intent and gross negligence.

6.2 The Provider is not liable for third-party services, particularly not for the quality of medical treatment or other services provided by partner companies.

6.3 The Customer is obligated to inform the Provider immediately about any damages or defects to allow for remediation.

7. Data Protection

7.1 The Provider collects and processes personal data of the Customer exclusively within the framework of applicable data protection laws.

7.2 Further information can be found in the Provider’s Privacy Policy.

8. Final Provisions

8.1 The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.

8.2 The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract, as far as legally permissible, is the Provider’s registered office.

8.3 Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
